Larry Pettit, President
Larry has a long track record in building and developing companies successfully. He started eleven businesses of his own from start-up positions and sold each successfully, two of which were acquired by public companies. Larry became a franchise consultant shortly after selling his real estate firm in 1992. As a previous franchisee, he fully understands the motivation and emotions on both sides of franchising, and as a result, advises with insight that few have. Larry is often invited to speak on franchising & business development to various business groups. Since creating FranPros in 2004, FranPros has directed several companies from start-up to international expansion.
Amy Fisher, Vice President
Amy began her franchise career in 1988 when she joined a Century 21 office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as Office Manager. Amy’s administrative skills were soon discovered, and from 1992 to 2004, she was Administrative Director for Shepherd Companies, a business consulting firm in Boca Raton, Florida. Amy joined FranPros at its inception in 2004 and as Vice President, she brings over 25 years experience in administrative expertise that includes human resources, internal controls, preparing operations manuals, accounting functions and information technology.
Craig Lund, Senior Managing Director | Midwest Office
Craig has been successfully managing & developing companies for over 35 years. A true sales specialist, Craig is highly respected, having set several sales records and earning numerous awards with fortune 500 companies. As an entrepreneur, he started Value Added Business Services in 1997 with one employee. Today, under Craig’s leadership and vision, VABS is a multi-million dollar company who successfully competes with industry giants like Staples & Office Depot. As Regional Vice President, Craig oversees the franchise expansion efforts for our clients throughout the Midwest.
Kia Karimi, Senior Managing Director | West Coast Office
Kia brings a wealth of experience to FranPros, holding executive positions for over 24 years. As a former global hospitality and food & beverage executive, Kia specializes in negotiating multi-unit territory development agreements and implementing international growth strategies in key markets. He has a proven track record in the franchise industry having represented some of the largest franchise companies in the world, expanding them into 23 different countries. His hands-on approach to launching new companies into new markets is unequalled. Kia received his MBA from Cornell University.
Mike Pettit, Director of Operations & Training
Mike was self-employed for over 15 years when he successfully sold his company in 2004. Before joining FranPros in 2009, Mike was employed at AutoNation as a Quality Control Manager, assisting dealerships throughout the United States. As Director of Operations for FranPros, Mike specifically assists in the operational development and training needs of our clients and their franchisees.
Melissa Bill, Director of Business Development
Melissa has worked in Franchise Marketing since 2008. She has since assisted clients with special events planning and media communication services, working in harmony with marketing & advertising firms. Throughout her career, she has helped companies of every size with successful campaigns and grand opening events. In the communication industry, Melissa is a respected professional and has launched media campaigns for companies such as Jean Claude Novaro Galleries, Saago Vodka and The Global DR Group, securing feature stories in both local and national media outlets.
Dick Thompson, Project Manager
Dick started his franchise career with Lums Restaurant as a Store Manager. He quickly became Operations Manager, assisting franchisees in opening Lums Restaurants throughout the U.S., reporting directly to John Y. Brown, who at the time was also Chairman of Kentucky Fried Chicken. After leaving Lums, Dick became a General Contractor, operating his own construction firm successfully for over 20 years. Dick first joined FranPros in 2007 as an advisor before taking on the duties of Project Manager.
Michelle Lindquist, Commercial Leasing Specialist
Michelle moved from Brazil to Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 18 and immediately went to work for a non-profit organization that helped the handicapped. Assisting those less fortunate made an impact on her life. In 2005, Michelle moved to Miami and entered the Real Estate industry. Working tirelessly, she soon became one of South Florida’s top agents, representing both domestic & international clients. Being proficient in English, Portuguese & Spanish, Michelle is a successful businesswoman who is still growing and more importantly, still dedicated to helping others less fortunate.
Luis Lozada, Designer
Luis Lozada, studied design in South America and is inspired most by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier, and the Bauhaus Movement. Luis in known for designing without boundaries implementing modern applications of furniture design and space planning. Luis now resides in South Florida and is fluent in English and Spanish. He is supported by professional associations such as allied member ASID, IIDA, and has been awarded with numerous recognitions.
Bayley Davis, Marketing Director
Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Bayley now resides in South Florida and brings more than ten years in Marketing experience. She has spear-headed programs for more than 100 companies, including International Projects in European Market Communications, South America, and the Caribbean.
Bayley has a Bachelors and Associates Degree in Marketing from Johnson & Wales University.
